Could it really be ?

Another thing to consider - well for most of us anyway, is that you'd have to part with your current one. As they're more than just a bike, don't know if I could do it. It's never been a problem before but that was before i owned the Rocket.

Re ECU, tighter than a duck's bum is an understatement.

I felt that when i was considering selling my much loved Storm and again when selling my 2014 Roadster....never felt that way b4...would have kept them if it was possible but needed the coin to move forward. Very difficult....

I can understand the sadness with the Storm but you did trade up to a Rocket and then traded your 14 Rocket for a 16 Rocket. Also, what will the trade in price be like against the new model? It takes a certain kind of person to buy a Rocket and if they being traded for the new one and causing "a glut" prices will fall.

There ought to be 2 or 3 models as well. 1 for current Roadster owners, 1 for all the Touring fans and another for the owners that want to buy the new naked street fighter ****** rocket look. If they only make that one, then they'll either lose lots of followers or those with the current model will keep them. Sales won't hit the highs they were hoping for and it could be short lived.

Sorry folks i just do not see it happening. Could be wrong but considering today's market just don't see it. Granted the idea might be being tossed around in the High and mighty offices at Truimph but considering cost and expected sells it would be a no win situation. All of us on here is what they sing about "Last of A Dying Breed" Now the Bonneville's that is a different story. Sad but time will tell. :(:(:(:(:(:(

FWIW...I paid $NZ19 for the 14 Roadster and sold it for $NZ22....paid $NZ26.5 for the new one...and have spent a bucket of cash getting it where i want it...probably owes me $NZ33-$NZ34 now. If i was to sell it now i would be competing againsta new R3, which you can still find here for $NZ28.5 and/or Indians, Harleys etc in the same sort of price group...Wouldn't be worth doing money wise.
Needless to say, the 'Horse' stays in the stable.

Sorry folks i just do not see it happening.
Dont know if you saw this Sonny...
