Just pulled a few things out of the small shed today. Anyone need a seat. ;):D

This is JUST my R3 SPARE seats! Corbins and factory versions of all sorts. The bubble wrapped are new LOW Gel R3 seats.
I have heaps of Sprint 1050 ones too, including a Corbin on it and my 1978 BMW R100RS.

I'm vertically challenged, so a seat that gets me lower would be great. Do you have a black low seat? If so, how much?

The one on the left there. Is that the heated one?

Yes it is factory option LOWRIDER SEAT - RIDER A9701151 no longer available from Dealers.
1" lower and they are actually a Gel seat and simply replace the existing one with or without the stock pillion seat fitted. I also have a used wide 'Comfort" TOURING GEL SEAT - PILLION A9701143 to suit as well that matches the other standard height TOURING GEL SEAT - RIDER A9701142.
It almost looks like they mixed the rider's seat photos up in the Triumph Factory Accessories Catalogs. These are not 'Touring' model parts that was just the Triumph parts name for R3 Standards/Classics and Roadsters.

The Gel seats have a rubbery smooth seat surface and the sides are heavily textured thick vinyl.

    LOWRIDER SEAT - RIDER A9701151
Au$350 (Approx US$250) + Postage. They are fairly light so about Au$100 (Approx US$70) postage to USA I think.

I had two brand new LOWRIDER SEATS - RIDER A9701151, but one has a 1" box cutter slash where some overeager bike-shop employee opened the cartons. :(

The gel portion is on top and not effected by the 1" cut in the thicker textured seat edge vinyl.
    GEL SEAT. LOW RIDER A9701151.

This is the nick in the outer wrapping.

Total cost for shipping with Insurance (Extra cover) to cover item selected and postage costs which is charged in increments of about Au$4 per Au$100 for Intl.

The Seat weighs 2.5Kg and with 1.5kg for packing.

Postage calculator & delivery times - Australia Post

    Weight: 4kg

    Postage $78.40
    Extra cover $15.50
    Total# $93.90

If it was just 3kg it would be
    Weight: 3kg

    Postage $69.90
    Extra cover $15.50
    Total# $85.40

As postage cost hardly changes with a little extra weight it is best to pack well and heavy to protect rather than too lightly! ;):D

    So Au$435.40 (approx. US$310)

Payment in Aussie $ via Paypal as 'Send money to Friends/relatives’ so no fees for me.

    Cheers

I think I have found a reasonable solution to the cut one and may keep it for my other Roadster to try out. Embroided soft cloth badges, plastic sealed at rear The Rocket ones below fit shape of seat edge perfectly, (it is just sat there in photo not pressed to surface).

I have plenty more to choose from in multiples so can match them on each side too!

Correct, wider, shapely and supportive, just like Kanye West likes them;):D

I'll leave that one on top then as I am repacking it all into the shed again and despite it being only 27*C instead of 40*C+ like last week, it is frigg'n hot!

Pulling it out and re-packing it is the only way I discover what I have in there!;)

One less if you buy this one! I wish my arse was as easy to downsize! ;):D:roll::roll:

Postage with Au$600 insurance to NZ is
    Weight: 5.5kg

    Postage $63.00
    Extra cover $22.50
    Total# $85.50

    So Au$635 all up mate.

    Cheers

    Peter

PS I could insure it for less so you can have a lower NZ customs rate but the insured amount has to be stated on Customs and Australia Post forms.

    It could be a $50 gift! ;):D:cool:
