Considering R3 2005

Sorry Skip was being a bit loud !!!!

as far as the Colour envy goes it shows

Ok boys n girls, the dirty deed has been done. I am now the proud owner of a 2007 R3 Classic. It was -27c (-16f) wndchill yesterday when I pick it up. Today was a little warmer at -12c (10f) windchill and as my riding mates had showed up to see the beast, I had to take it for a little ride around the block. Bloody Nora these bikes have got big nads! I couldn't believe the instant pick up when I only gave it a little bit of gas n trying to dodge around the ice n snow patches. Anyway it only took 2 small runs before my fingers almost froze - note to self, buy some freakin gloves you daft bogwoppitt.

I am sooooooo happy that I got onto this forum and got the real truth about these bikes. Thanks lads.

So there it is, one Limey waiting for the Canadian winter to pass ASAP.

Welcome from Scotland.Enjoy the Rocket. Al.

Ubtunded and barely cogent

Congrats. Hope your puppy doesn't crap on the rug, so to speak. Most of these guys are happy with their rockets. Some less so. Me for instance. But hell, all bikes can be ticklish at times and *****es. My Jap bike is more dependable, even though highly modified. Starts in the coldest, below zero Colorado weather...the R3 is DOA. Still, the beast is a formidable tank of a scooter, regardless of her tempermental nature. Fun to intimidate HDers too You'll like this burly, bawdy brute. I do, even though I sometimes doubt my sanity for buying it!
