Why is it that so many Americans that want to sell something put down" Con US only" or" Lower 48 states" only ?
If the buyer is willing to pay shipping to Canada or Europe then what difference does it make?
It pisses me off to no end when I find something I want to buy only to see Con U.S. only.
Do me a favor, if you are going to sell something on this forum or that other forum then show some respect to Canadians, we have money up here too.

There, end of my rant...

Maybe 'mericans think you guys are all broke ... heard a US comedian once describe Canadians as Mexicans with sweaters :D Sorry Mac .... honest , we cop it too.

I don't know what the specific issue is, but many sites don't support online calculation of shipping items outside it's country of origin - and many financial institutions don't process (or guarantee) payments from credit cards held in other countries.

Keep a few dollars in a Paypal account, so that vendors can see (if they wish) that you are using verified funds.

Shipping is where sellers struggle, especially if the products vary greatly in size and weight. For example, a container of leather treatment is different than the same-sized container of paint in some countries. For example, BMW Motorcycle Paint has historically not been allowed in the US (chemical hazard) so repairs must be done with alternatives.

Aftermarket pipes are shipped all over the world, but most are done through established distributors or one-on-one verbal negotiations in order to ensure that the seller still makes money on the deal.

One of my clients had me disable the online-shopping features of his site altogether, and tells me that the overall experience has since been more positive because there is no confusion or concerns on with both him and his customers.

Hope this helps,

I'm sure one of our American friends could help you out? Pay for it, ship it to our american captain and pay him to ship over to you..It is a bit of a ball ache but do-able.."Unless your billy no mates :p"

What pisses me off is when an item is put on ebay first, then come onto the owners club's telling owners its for sale on ebay..

If any of you guys need something forwarded to you,
just have it sent to me.
I'll get it on it's way.
Do it regularly for a couple of members,
no problems so far that I'm aware of.
Although HansO got a little paranoid the last time
cause it took like 1 day longer than it should have,
then he found out, they sent it on a red rowboat instead of a black jet...
But it eventually made it.;)
