BMW does not make paint. They probably have the repair colors (based on oem color code) made by BASF.
They use this process, that they can keep profits and availability in house.

If you went to a fiendly bodyshop or local car repair paint supply facility (wholesaler or jobber) you could ask them to access the color, providing you can give them the color code or year and color name. And they could mix you a quantity of color.

So if that wholesaler is a BASF distributer, you are getting the same paint and a little cheaper than "factory available"

You could also get the color from most paint manufacturors, Akzo Nobel Sikkens, PPG, Shirwin Williams, DuPont. If they have the color system on the computer for your brand of bike.

Why is it that so many Americans that want to sell something put down" Con US only" or" Lower 48 states" only ?
If the buyer is willing to pay shipping to Canada or Europe then what difference does it make?
It pisses me off to no end when I find something I want to buy only to see Con U.S. only.
Do me a favor, if you are going to sell something on this forum or that other forum then show some respect to Canadians, we have money up here too.

Ok I'm guilty as charged I think this is first time I've posted in the classified, not very experienced at it and didn't want to get things confused.

I've taken all of my "CON US only" off, don't mean to offend anybody.
