I like it when it gets cold beside me, it stops all the posers riding around in shorts, tank tops and flip flops(thongs for the Aussies) usually does not help with the I do not wear a helmet crowd but then again good old Mother Nature always has a job to do and no helmet makes it a wee bit easier for her.

The squirrels are devouring hickory nuts over my house in prep. Some leaves already showing color changes. Up here on the mountain we are the last to see spring arrive and things get green. We're also the first to see fall. Ride em y'all. It's coming.

This weekend our high is supposed to be 106, fall and winter cant get here soon enough. Prime riding seasons. Bring them on!

I ride in the cold too. Frosted Vision. But heated grips and seat sure do feel good at 70 mph. The grips and seat have high / low settings but I can't ride very long with either of them on high. Gets too hot.

Yeah the Wife says Farmers Almanac says harsh winter. I just saw the NOAA long range winter forecast for our area.

Science and El Nino says Milder and Drier than normal for my area.
