Color Of Primer On 2011 R3T?

I want to be sure it's not white before I dig it out of chips thinking it's old hard wax.

I read elsewhere that it is gray.

I would clean area with "prepsol" (also known as "Wax and Grease Remover") if it does not remove the white stuff you will probably find it is the primer

It's white, my local dealer did me the favour of dropping the headlight shells on my tank and front guard, not exactly the best colour under black. As Hanso said, wipe it with prepsol and get out the touch up pen.
