Clutch cable length

I know you posted this in the Touring forum, Jack, but nowhere in your avatar or posts do you actually say which bike you have.

Uh, Jack posted this back in 2011, my bad for "resurrecting" the thread. I'm in the habit of searching for existing threads before opening new ones.

And I for one do have the R3T... with the Rivco risers.

Well, pulled the trigger on a set of "stainless" cables from Barnett, +2 on the clutch and +1 on the throttle cables; I figure an extra inch there can't hurt. I didn't really need new throttle cables, but in the interest of looks I figured what the heck. Not going to be cheap with customs, taxes and shipping tacked on, but the current clutch cable is showing signs of damage from being exposed so it was time. I need to get on top of this "ordering stuff for the bike" thing - new whitewall tires from the UK, new cables from the US, a wheel roller and sundry bits from Germany (louis.eu) and next is probably a set of Hagon Nitro shocks. This hobby is getting expensive.

An extra 1 or 2 inches most guys would agree with that concept!!
