Clear or smoked turn sig lenses?!?

Yup - old thread I know.

But revived as one of the lads on the German R3 forum has just made me a set of smoked black lenses. And they're on their way. I am officially impatient (again).

Its been so long since I bought them from Parr I forgot what 20 Euro each cam out too!!! Plus I got a fiberglass rear fender from him short style in case I ever want a different look.

He sent me this sample photo - there was a Blue tinted one on there too - so I guess he could do red.

I don't know if he does them very often. I was put onto him last year and he said he had no plans to do more but to contact him later this year.
This I did and he was kind enough to do a set. I thick they come a little less "finished" than others have. But we'll know soon.

I have the advantage of being pretty near fluent in German too - not sure how good his English is.

Has anybody converted their Rocket turn signals into running light ? Front amber - red rear. The factory lamps, not after market. Is so, what did you do to make it work ? Any problems after ?

The only WORKABLE solution I can see is use LEDS.

Geoff Goff in the UK has some boards for converting old classic rear bike lights http://www.norbsa02.freeuk.com/GoffyDaytimeLights.htm. But tbh I doubt it would be that hard to make you own. Not seen anything small for fronts. I've was looking at the amber/red Stop/Tail/Indicator on that page to augment the rear a bit. But now have other plans for extra tail lighting.
