Make up a decent LED array insert for the woeful Rocket taillight!!!

It would change little. The issue is the shape and internal facets etc. I have tried lots - it never SHOUTS. Needs additional focal points.

Thanks, Ish, but I don't trust the quality and optics of such a cheap light most likely from China.
Do you know of someone e that can build a quality LED array for the OEM tail light.

The issue is not the LED part, Steve. It's the baseplate and lens - There are some neat 10W 12V RED LED plates available (brakes) and loads of smaller ones for tail. But the issue is ALWAYS heatsinking the blighters or use low power LEDs. If not then the LEDS either gate down the brightness or even burn out. The best solution so far for the OEM light I have found is a multi led "bulb". And then add more lights elsewhere. GET RED LED BULBS.

The ones I have in both bikes are like this

Produce a lot of scatter in original light unit.
