Phil , i've seen the prices people ask on E-bay .. most i have ever outlaid is $150 , and that was pushing it . The two latest ones cost me $60 for both of them.

If i was going to spend that sort of money i'd buy this gem. Was awarded to 1st Place Winner at Lake Perkoilili claypan motorcycle speedway near Kalgoorlie WA some time between WW1 and WW2. Been in the private collection of an old retired antique dealer for the past 30 years. Awesome piece of Australian motorcycling history.

Guessing the fondling marks were caused by Jack Bantock , the winning rider ... or perhaps a Mrs Bantock who threatened poor 'ol Jack with it when he was playing up
