Castrol full Syn 4T 10W/50 for me. Been using Castrol oils for my entire 45 years of motorcycle ownership. Excellent products. I still use the dino 20/W50 oils in my old vintage bikes. I did use for a few oil changes the imported Mobile 1 15W/50 Triumph had in the early days of the Rocket.
I buy Purolator L14612 filters and their higher end variables. Problem now with Purolator is they changed the contour of the top surface where the threads are. They used to be concave and fit very well on the Rocket. The new design is convex and will not screw down tight enough to the engine so they could easily leak at the rubber seal. When I can fins some concave filters I've been buying them up whenever I can find the old style. I've got 9 of them stashed, so I'm good for several years. I guess when I use them up I'll switch to the Wix.
