That really sounds like a great mod!
Saves about 9.5 KG (near 21 pounds) of unsprung weight!
That's dam good I would say.
I also like the idea of lifting up the chassis a half inch or so for more lean angle.
May I inquire as to the cost? Or a link would be nice.
I assume you researched the different brands - any dope on comparisons?

Well you do not have to pay the VAT so it is closer to $3699.45, but still a chunk of change... And you will likely need new tires as well...

nice pictures !! that bike was in a video a while on youtube , belongs to a Japanese rider and the sound of the exhaust was and still is IMHO the best ever there was a lot more mods on that R3 look up the vid it is worth the time
