Cant get rear wheel back on

Am I missing something? Did you put a different size tire on? Is it possible to let air out of tire to put wheel on bike? Hell I don't know. Bring it to Stearns. We'll figure it out. Let us know

When I had my touring I had to let air out of the car tire to be able to put it back together
Then aired it back up

When I first changed my TR3 rear tire I remember it being a pain in the a**. My last bike was a Road King and the rear wheel darn near fell out and you could put one back in with little effort. I Can see how you could mistake something major like a bent frame. Remember the first rule of troubleshooting, "Check the simple things first". Second, " Kick the **** out of it!!!"

Just got to go public with this....

Woke up today and decided to take my large king trunk off and go with the Triumph luggage rack with the sissy bar. Opened up my shop and the Rocket had a flat rear tire. Couldn't stop laughing. I just wrote on how I remove and reinstall the rear wheel. Now was my chance to do the work while still fresh in my mind. It went well. Jacked up the beast, put a few extra scissor jacks front and back, and removed the wheel. New tire gets put on Saturday morning.... Oh yes, I won't forget to grease the drive side. Hope everyone has a great Easter weekend.

Fcuk laughing would be the last thing I would do after noticing a flat tyre:whitstling:

Pulled a BIG screw out of my NEW Avon rear, this morning!
I have a extra rim so I would plug her a run her locally any real milage trip I'd put the spare on. My max is getting worn but a brought one on a rim with me for quick change over. Mind you I don't put my axle in bass ackwards :D

I must live a sheltered existence. This is the first bike tire leak I've had. Ive been riding for a long time and punctures just haven't happened. Sure seems a waste to dump a new Avon tire. In my case, the Michilen C2 had maybe 3 to 5 thousand miles left in it. Not a huge cost, but a true pain... Like the idea of spare rims.
