Cannot read map

I have been using Tune ECU on my 2012 R3T without any problems, I can also connect to a 2014 R3R and can adjust the TPS etc, but when I try to read the map I get a warning “Unknown Map Type”.

have you got the latest version of TuneECU, you may just need to update the Tune ECU software to the latest version, I had the same prob before I updated
