I installed and set it up a while back but I've had to disconnect the battery since then, and now I can't find "that good spot to keep the manual so I wouldn't forget where I put it". I want to double check that I'm getting the most bang for my bucks!

The manufacturer website should have it, but you want the 03 setting for most available power. 04 sets first gear back to factory stock. That last one is what you tap in while riding in the rain or if the old lady doesn't like zippy take offs.
