Getting ready to call it a day but on the cam tensioner if you have 10.80mm after pushing it in with your finger do you need a spacer? Never mind got it 16mm or better requires a spacer.

Checked a private message. We are good at 10.80 mm. No need for a spacer until you reach 16mm. Had wife try to shove it in but it is tight good to go.

Cam tensioner. After checking my notes if you can push the dam$ thing in past 16mm you need to add a spacer before placing spring and bolt assembly back in. You mount the body and check the clearance after pushing the tensioner in with your finger until it touches. Had wife push in because her fingers are smaller than mine. Worked out really well. Setting at 10.80 mm. No spacer required. I'm done for today. Gonna drink some beer and relax a bit.Really had a good day. Got the cams back in and now understand why Truimph recommends removing the throttle bodys prior to shim replacement on valve clearance. Had to buy a high powered flashlight to see timing marks on inspection hole. Really happy with the progress we made today. tickled #hitless. #ell we got tornadas showing up everywhere. Wife keeps showing me videos of the **** things touching down in southwestern Oklahoma.
