First off, good luck on the job.
Next just ride it, don't even worry about it.

Mine has had a wet spot since day 1.
Still full of oil, still running strong, and still wet......
I consider it a badge of honor, my h-d riding buddies clean their bikes every time we ride,
I sit in the shade with a beer and laugh at them.
Had one ask me when was the last time I washed it the other day.
i told him the last time it rained it got a bath,
I bought it to ride not admire.......

Skip I've seen many pictures of your bike, some of that dirt was there from the first trip home! LOL
You probably laugh at me for washing the bike once in awhile, but I laugh at the guys who claim water has never touched theirs.

ya know what makes me nervous right now??? Say I don't find anything with the black light right now ... but 6 months down the road I pull up next to some guy with dark blue neon lights and my engine block starts glowing bright green. Arrrgggg !!!! lol
