I can only assume it was in a house fire, sad ending for this bike.

Opening bid.....500 bucks.

Don't look to me like there is 500 bucks worth of anything salvageable on the hulk. Looks like it got pretty darn hot. I'd doubt that anything internally is any good, too much heat. Alloys tend to move around with localized heat rendering them basically useless.

Vehicle fires are always grisly looking. Rapid oxidation of consumable items leaves something less than desired in their wake.

I agree. Looks like the bike wasn't the cause of the fire but was consumed in the fire.

A sad ending to once was a beautiful bike. I'm wondering if it belonged to a poster on this site?
