A couple of weeks ago there was the Annual "Brits at the Beach" weekend at Whangamata, East Coast, North Island NZ.
Primarily British cars, but us Guys of the Triumph Riders Club of NZ went along for a ride.
All young Fella's of coarse.
I was horrified when I saw the title of this thread. It conjured up images of masses of white, blubbery, walrus like creatures and loads of knotted hankies...!
The tide was out, but otherwise a very safe and beautiful Harbour.
My Grand Father bought three ¼ acre sections there back in the early 40's, paid a whopping £15.00 each for them.
So my Dad was going to Whangamata (Wong-Ga-Maa-Taa) since he was a kid, and me, well lets just say less than that.
