Well I’m proven ignorant again.;) I’m going to stick to humorous posts and general foolishness since facts and usable and information is not my strong suit.

For me, another ignorant. My skills level are sooo low below my Two Tone's capabilities. Some people ride the R3 poshing 4 to 6 k most of the time. 2 to 4 is manageable for me. It's about skills and application. The throttle response with the Stage 1 mods, IMO are worth it. Keep the parts in case someone wants to revert it to stock. :D

DrD where's your TFC?!

Open it up and let it breathe! Have some fun with it. You will like the sound and performance.

Like the Brute filters set up. Just don't know about the overflow bottle.

Originally I just used some 2" spa hose and pvc elbows, which is very easy to work with. Just cut to length, glue together and paint it red. Then (cause bigger is always better) I found out they sell universal intake/intercooler kits on Amazon. For 100 bucks you can buy a kit of aluminum tubing whatever diameter you want, with prebent 90's and 45's and whatever color you want. So I went with 3" aluminum tubing, some silicone reducers (3" to 2.5" to go on throttle bodies), and KandN RG-1001RD universal filters. Problem I had is how big the radiuses are on the tubing. Made it very hard to fit. Ended up using silicone elbows on middle one, that's why it is black. There is an endless amount of silicone elbows, reducers, couplers, different colors, but the silicone isn't really strong enough to hold up the filters by itself. Those filters are quite heavy, heavier than the first ones I had on there. Here's some pics.

I found those mods in another thread you had, appreciate the info.

I love the look, myself, but for what you want to do, I'd think real hard about the wind resistance at high speeds
No doubt, but the mile is not looking good, steering stabilizer and some safety tie issues on touring might kill that dream ! I’d like to know where @CamaroCarl has tested speed to with them jokers, maybe I’ll ask
