I responded only to what you had written, Amigo. :D
Rob did not make 239 RWP using Ram Air.
So your saying Rob did not have a ramair filter on his bike when he made 239 rwp? I don't think he is saying he made that power with only ramair, but the ramair did not prevent him from making that much power with his mods.

My Mustang is limited to 155 mph by the manufacturer. I may or may not have installed a custom tune that removed the speed limiter. Your Camaro may be the same.;)
Mine has been tuned as well. Everybody always asks me how fast it will go? I've never maxed it out to see. I never get tired of taking off as hard and fast as I can in whatever I'm driving, love the rush of acceleration, but rarely get much over 100. Doesn't feel necessary...or safe...or worth the ticket.

I agree.
I blew my OZ Claw loose several times at ton 30 plus, so now it happily resides with @breeze Dave.
dont know if I had it up to 130 with it on?but had it well over 100 bunch of times its held tight, but its deceiving still got original duct work (for now trying to decide ram air or k&n will either one fit under the ozclaw?

For me, another ignorant. My skills level are sooo low below my Two Tone's capabilities. Some people ride the R3 poshing 4 to 6 k most of the time. 2 to 4 is manageable for me. It's about skills and application. The throttle response with the Stage 1 mods, IMO are worth it. Keep the parts in case someone wants to revert it to stock. :D

DrD where's your TFC?!
Have no idea where the bike is.

Yes. A Ram Air would not have given him near that HP.
I reckon he runs his own modified set up. I know at one time he ran a Pipercross.
Read the Tin Man's recent post.

Yes both will fit - 2780s for the K&N.
I have run dynos with the exact same bike on the same dyno with each set up. Ram Air was best, but not by a noticeable margin.

Was that tuned to each set of filters, or tuned for the Ramair then just slapped on the K&Ns for a pull?

Was tuned to the 2780s first in the fall.
Months later was tuned to the RamAir in the summer.
RWHP was within a couple (RamAir 2-3 more) but the atmospherics were different.
However the RamAir took more fuel, so it gets the edge . . .
Nels said the diff was not likely noticeable with the butt-dyno.
To me, it felt more crisp on the throttle and easier to wheelie, but I be easily impressed . . .

Easier to wheelie, see hooligan ( this fall I’m gonna ask you and steel to teach me):cool:
