Triumph Rocket 3 Touring
My wife and I are planning a trip and are considering Branson MO. We live in Southern Wisconsin and have a week to 10 days to spend on a motorcycle trip. Last year we road around lake Michigan, which was really a cool ride and my wife's 1st long trip on her own bike (Bonnie). I like to hear from anyone who has spent some time in the Branson area or someone from the Midwest that may have a good trip idea.

Thanks and I'll take a look at the map

While staying at The HUB in Marble Falls for a week just to ride the area, I encountered a fast 1000 Ninja in the twisties.
After some spirited riding, we stopped and visited. He worked for Butler Maps and was riding and logging the roads for their map information.
Upon returning home, I bought several maps, including the OZARK and shall put them use this April when I return.
Butler maps are intended for motor riders, They rate the roads, are weather proof and indestructible.

@Mittzy,
Twas indeed a GREAT experience even though the kid greased my ass!
I just couldn't compete with his motor's superior lean angle (and perhaps larger heuvos). :eek:

I live in NW Arkansas, the riding here is great.

I bring my family to Branson several times a year, we stay in the resorts but the budget hotels tend to have motorcycle-friendly parking. The challenge for some motorcyclists is the traffic on 76, and some of the steep back-roads, but it isn't difficult to avoid.

Post some of the places you're interested in, and we can provide feedback.

Rode the Valk through Branson a few years ago. My clutch hand had all of the stop and go traffic it could take. Had fun once we got off the scooter, though.
