Brakeaway cruise control for 2011 Roadster Has any one fitted

Very interesting indeed. The two I bought have been on two bikes for over 20K miles each so far and holding tight. Both bikes are garaged and I wonder if ultra violet may affect the plastic. How long did you have yours?
I intend to look into those metal versions you speak of - thanks.

I looked - I bought two. These are billet aluminum and with adjustable tension.
Look very cool - we shall soon see . . .

Has anyone fitted a Brakeaway Cruise Control, Part Number 5CP02 to their R3R 2011 Model. I contacted Brakeaway and they responded that they do not have a compatable model for Rocket 3 after 2010. I'm sure I have read somewhere that people have fitted them. If so let me know if you experienced any problem fitting it (does it hit tank at full lock?) and whether it operates OK. Don't really want to go for an electronic unit as only want to rest my hand now and then. Is there anything just as good as a Brakeaway cruise control?

I use the Kuryakyn friction cruise assist on my '13 with their grips, works and feels great. Cut the threaded bit out of the end of my bars.

I have a breakeaway cruise control 5CP02 I removed it from my R3 worked fine but I just do not like the look of it will sell it to any captain who wants it for $200
