brake on/off - not much change in taillight brightness

The bulb has two alignment pins that are at different distances from the end of the base. Unless you really force it, and that will most likely break the bulb, they can't be installed incorrectly.

At least that's the theory.

I know mate, but I've seen it happen before, sometimes the pins on the side of the bulbs will push into the bulb if forced.
Its only a suggestion coz i,ve seen it happen.

reseating the bulb seemed to solve the issue. The bulb only goes in one way. I never had any of the built in wiring loose or anything, only unplugged and re-ran the harness and cable when I put in my rivco plate relocator.

anyway - thanks for the replies, seems to be working now.

Ok, so this issue still persist. I just received a new tailblazer and it totally freaks out. It stays on all the time when the bike is on. The front brake has no affect on it.
The rear brake however I can use to make the light flicker. I think through my adjustment of rear brake pedal, I've somehow managed to trigger the 'on' signal constantly.

Anyone have any advice on what I could check? I've tried re-adjusting the pedal. Is there any adjustment for the light switch too somewhere?
