Just read a post on a U.K based Triumph forum from a guy wanting to guy a new Sprint. He reckons that he was told by the dealer that the Sprint and the Rocket are to be discontinued:eek:. What, if true could be the replacement ? I hope its not a bigger badder engined bike called a" Missile" instead or i'll have to start saving again:mad:.

Well we know sales aren't too hot so I wouldn't be surprised to see the Rocket die. My guess would be in that case that they we'll see more variety in the T'Bird range rather than a bigger beast. Shame, but the writing's been on the wall for a while. Mine's a keeper anyway.

there was (or is) a rumour doing the rounds in UK that Triumph are developing a 3 litre V6! It's been mentioned a number of times but as usual no one can verify the source. But...if it's true I'll be knocking on the door at the factory when I'm over there next April!!!!!!!!!

Well, looks like i may have a collectors item is they didn't sell that many in the States and they quit making it:)

My guess would be the long rumored Trophy.. The T-Bird already competes with the Rocket.. and the Sprint would never sell with a shaft drive 1200+cc sport tourer available..
