Beware Okies
sorry u had troubles hope u can fix without problems.
when a shop hires a new guy they need to keep an eye on them. so many mechanics think that u put a nut on then give it a full blast with an impac then u check it with a torque wrench until it clicks.
for example i asked a tire guy to torque my wheel to 85 pounds. i always check because my wife might need to change tire. i tried to take the nuts off it maxed out the torque wrench,took a 3 foot breaker to get the nuts off that is usually why the studs break off.
 
Kind of figured something was not right with the bike. Been hearing a funny noise coming from the rear on mild takeoffs. Gee a completely frozen bearing and smashed spacer? Here Lately noticed a bit of vibration at 70 to 80 miles per hour. Figured it was Just my imagination. figured wrong. The last time I dealt with this kind of @ull**** I went on into the Harley shop and got arrested. This time I plan on using my head and not my fist.

sorry about that. At times when I get all upset I do not present a clear picture of events and current info. I have been to numerous anger management course's with little to no results. I am really pissed so I apologized for not making it clear.
 
Do a chargeback on your credit/debit card and provide the evidence. You will get your money back at least. Good luck. Been there and done that. This is why I do all my own work if I can. At least if I **** it up I can only blame myself.
 
The money spent is not the issue. I do the work myself 99% of the time but after lifting the bike the first time without the proper modification to the floor jack i was a bit concerned about doing it again. Now we fabricated a plate that worked out really well and have no problem lifting the bike. My Harley (2010 Fatboy) has only been to a dealership one time. After that experience I swore off dealerships (landed In jail) Did not behave very well. Really thought that Truimph was better than that. Thought wrong. Never again.
 
they are not all bad granted a good part lots of new different equip.coming out lots of new young guys getting jobs,but not all
