Battery care

hi there - a quick question, I just purchased the Triumph Battery Tender (or at least one was bought for me for Christmas) - I was told when I bought the bike that the connector hanging out of the side panel on the left side of the bike was for quick access to charge the battery, yet the nattering tender connections are different...

- Is this connector for charging / tending the battery or was the dealer full of it?
- if this is the right connector then is there an adapter I need to be able to charge the battery / leave it on tend for winter?

Hi Phil - long time no speak, it got hectic, my girlfriend and I reconciled and after 6 years we are expecting our first child in August - a sort if New Year gift to us both..

AH so you and your girlfriend made up and are now suffering from holding hands disease. Next time you get that feeling ride the bike dude its cheaper.

Loud and clear - thanks

I fitted the Triumph connector kit to my Rocket for that very purpose so your dealer wasn't 'full of it'. :smile: You just need to sort out the right plug to suit the socket.
