Bags and front fairing

:?: I just bought a 2007 Rocket 3 tour ,it has leather bags on it I would like to switch them out for the hard bags "like on the Harley"also I would like a batwing fairing ,my question is can any of the Harley stuff work or do I have to go with corbin?Love the site LOVE the bike ,left the goldwing for it.Thanks for any help

Corbin is too expensive and does not have a good rating with most folks here, even though I have them and I am happy with them. There are other less expensive options and the gals /guys here will point you in the right direction.

For bags, you can use the mutazu, you'll just need to upgrade the mounting brackets. use easy brackets or something similar.

several people have used the mu hard saddlebags, but they are not water proof.

For a fairing, there are several options, but i don't know of any other than corbin that are made for the R3.

There is another one made for the touring model that just came out, but none made exclusively for the R3 other than Corbin that I know of. Several members of this group have modified their own, including Lonzol so you may check with him on how he modified his to fit his R3.

The hard bags and mounts from the R3Touring will not fit without a lot of work. It would be jsut as seay to find another set of hardbags you like and make mounts to fit them to your bike.

Tsukayu makes a fairing, but it would have to be modified to fit the rocket.

Thanks for ALL the info ,gives me alot to think about ,my Rocket has the leather bags and 2 headlight bike is the most amazing bike I have ever ridden ,just like the hard bags and the hard batwing ,corbin really looks great ,but alittle pricey ,Thanks again for all the info ,site rocks .
