2011 Rocket 3 Roadster
I have the opportunity to purchase a backrest from a classic 2008 and I have a 2011 Rocket 3 Roadster I've been told that the classic and Roadster are interchangeable can anyone confirm this thank you in advance.

Yes it is but if you have a two piece Roadster seat you will need the rear mounting plate for the seat. It has a second post lock bolts right on the bike with three bolts. hides under the seat. but also it bolts and resembles the one on your seat. Now if you already have a touring seat on then it will go right on her.

Warp is referring to a rider backrest, which attaches to the middle of the dual touring seal. The dual touring seat needs (although some people have go without -I wouldn't) the rear mounting plate he refers to.
If on the other hand you're looking at a passenger backrest, ie sissy bar, then yes, the assembly is interchangeable between all non-Touring models.
