Back rest: easy separation from the rack ?

Now I'm curious, what tires are you running ?

And is that model of trunk still around ? I could see being unhappy enough with the Givi to want to change it out for one like yours.
 
Thanks for the comment. The tires are Avon Cobra, whitewalls, the trunk is Harley Ultra (has lights & speakers). I purchased it used, and had it painted to match the bike
