Australia's most easterly point.

Nice pics, in his early life the old man was an apprentice refrigeration mechanic working on the whaling ships based out of Byron Bay. He used to say that as far as they knew there was an infinite supply of whales and no one though twice about hunting them. Just recently before he died he used to say that the Australian navy should torpedo the Japanese whaling ships! How attitudes have changed.

Well your old man sure was thinking straight right to the end!

Great pictures Bruce.

Looking out to sea a bit from that lighthouse a husband and wife were out with a diving boat when her husband was taken by a six metre white pointer. I remember when it happened in the late nineties .they were on there honey moon .the others that were diving and saw the attack reckon he swam away from the group to draw the shark away from his new bride .that was indeed a brave act .

We rode here Saturday. It's the point Betsie lighthouse in Northern Michigan. When we were getting on the bike to leave a guy and his gal on a beautiful Harley CVO stopped to give kudos to the Rocket. He said that was the only other bike he would consider owning.
