... my Rocket aka "Jamie's Green Machine" , will be 4 years old next October. In my 41 years of motorcycling, I had never kept a bike that long. I had never been so passionate about a bike either. No other bike had ever incited me to join forums, to create and run an owners club, to organize outings, etc.

A unique experience. I just wanted to share it with you all, a month ahead of time... Jamie:)

Hi!

Yes. Scroll back in time to page 9, May 10-11, 2008. Thread title was "Green Bikes, Good or Bad". Best. Jamie:)

Ok, found it. Jag Green with nice looking accents on the tank. Very, very nice.

The tank pattern reminds me of a football helmet (American) worn by Colorado State University. Their mascot is a Ram and the their colors are green and gold. The helmet has a base color of green with ram's horns in gold curving back from the front.

Speaking of Jags, when I was in your part of the world in 2001, I was getting ready to take a picture of a fountain in a small square in Luzern (I believe) and a nice XK convertible pulls out of a side street to turn around the fountain. I held my hand out and the driver obliged me with a nice photo of his car in such a classic setting.

An early Happy Anniversary to you and the Green Machine!!:bch:
November will be three years for me and Lucille. I too am still feeling the passion.

Congratulations Jamie and a topic of discussion at the RAAIII was just how many sets pegs of had gone through in those beautiful alps of yours? Also are you riding on the Metz or have you gone to Avon?

Cheers!

Thanks much Wilbur and Baggage1. Are not the three of us among the oldest ---and yet most youthful reading--- partners on this great forum?

Here's to you both :bch:

Jamie:)
