Arai Signet Q helmet

What kind of problems you having? I've been seriously thinking about getting a NEXX XR2.

Actually it's not a bad helmet
However! It has these little plastic mounts on the Corners of the visor for tear away visors.

I find them slightly annoying because I can see them with my peripheral vision

I'm a signet Q guy and have loved my helmet. I actually found it really quite so your report of being loud is shocking to me. Really makes me think something wasn't quite right in that helmet.

Jim this my other helmet it is by far the quietes helmet I have ever had on my head I too have found most other helmet are too noisy

And it is also one of the lightest being a proper carbon helmet

Hanso talked me into buying this helmet and Im glad i did. The only down side I personally have with this helmet is that when you I get over 220 - 250 k's (depending on wind and temperature) I find it doesnt cope great and for my head just squashes into my face to the point my eyeball is squashed against the visor. My Shoei, although not as comfortable is good for up to 290kph or whatever the top speed i have hit is.

If youre after a good, quiet, comfortable quality helmet and normal speed, I reckon the Shark is great. Just dont buy the dog *****red one like hanso's!:D:eek:

I

Just leaving the dealer now

I almost purchased the Schuberth C3 modular but it was a couple hundred more bucks and to be honest felt heavy and somewhat clunky

So instead I just purchased this NEXX XR2 Carbon fiber

It's light as hell, looks cool and is reviewed well by other riders.

I'll try it out when I get home
thats a good looking helmet.

let us know how it goes.

I HATE THIS HELMET!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very cool looking helmet, and light weight. However after 20 minutes at freeway speeds my forehead hurts from the pressure of the helmet.
I went to revzilla and they describe this helmet as a race helmet meant for full or 3/4 tuck position. Which may explain why in an upright position I feel the pressure on my forehead.

My fault for not doing my homework 1st.

I'll put it up for sale on EBay and try to recoup some money.
In the meantime the search continues..............
