This is the one I'm getting next. I really like the modular part when your at a red light or in heavy traffic in the city. Better vision and ventilation. Really like to try one before dropping 600$ on it!
I was able to try on the neotec at a local cycle gear shop here. Really liked the fit myself. I was able to find them online for 450$, but still haven't dropped the cash.
Jim sorry about it being loud I love mine same as the one you got I get stuck with Arie because of my head shape I can't hear so may be thats why I don't think its loud dad wears the same as well I wonder if something was not in the helmet right if you can get away with a different helmet go for it I just can't get one to fit my head like this one

The Signet Q is a "long oval" shape
And it did fit very nicely, no pressure at all on my forehead, I think your right there must have been something out of whack with the shell or something.
I'm having a whole new set of problems with this NEXX helmet I bought,
Jim
I will chime in on the Shoei Neotec. Found a seller on Flea bay selling new ones for just a bit over 400.00. Its the best helmet I have ever had and I love it. I have a large head with nothing in it and it fits like a glove. No pressure points at all. Couldn't compare the wind noise as I have not ever had an Arai but I do know one thing shield removal is a piece of cake compared to anything else I have ever owned. Al
