I'm a signet Q guy and have loved my helmet. I actually found it really quite so your report of being loud is shocking to me. Really makes me think something wasn't quite right in that helmet.

This is the one I'm getting next. I really like the modular part when your at a red light or in heavy traffic in the city. Better vision and ventilation. Really like to try one before dropping 600$ on it!
Hanso talked me into buying this helmet and Im glad i did. The only down side I personally have with this helmet is that when you I get over 220 - 250 k's (depending on wind and temperature) I find it doesnt cope great and for my head just squashes into my face to the point my eyeball is squashed against the visor. My Shoei, although not as comfortable is good for up to 290kph or whatever the top speed i have hit is.
If youre after a good, quiet, comfortable quality helmet and normal speed, I reckon the Shark is great. Just dont buy the dog *****red one like hanso's!
Very cool looking helmet, and light weight. However after 20 minutes at freeway speeds my forehead hurts from the pressure of the helmet.
I went to revzilla and they describe this helmet as a race helmet meant for full or 3/4 tuck position. Which may explain why in an upright position I feel the pressure on my forehead.
My fault for not doing my homework 1st.
I'll put it up for sale on EBay and try to recoup some money.
In the meantime the search continues..............
