I've been playing with the idea of starting my own blog website and posting videos or portions thereof rides I take. That being said I know nothing of website development or using go pro or live streaming. It would be a project but I feel it is something I would enjoy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm with you I'd love to hook up my new Go-pro that's been in the new box for over a year... A friend of mine posted how he hooked up his GP on his helmet. He's a electronic geek (John). He's always posting something on YT. If you need help just ask him he always reply's..

I am new to video to. I got a Sena Prism Tube and love it. It comes with everything you need to get started for $120.00. Helmet mount, mic, speaker. No it is not a Go Pro or the quality of a Go Pro, but for the price I love it. The video quality is much better than what I have posted. It is me learning how to do it. I also found microsoft movie maker can be downloaded for free and is pretty simple to edit. I am recording things this summer and figure the winter months will be a good time to learn the software.

Sena Prism Tube Camera

Been keeping an eye out for a decent inexpensive action cam, mostly for evidence rather than vlogging.
There are bike specific Black-Box cams. Waterproof. Have them front and rear on the R3. Times have moved on since I bought mine.
If you want a very good but inexpensive cam - This guy is famous for his independent reviews of gear Techmoan - Techmoan .

Heres a small vid of the missus and myself in North Wales on a ride out..GoPro session cam
And another day with the cam on the back box...enjoy
