Sounds to me like your friend wants bragging rights. I say get the kit and remain on top of the food chain.

"Last Chance Saloon", or "Bucket of blood" as we called it. I figured it would be too easy for some ass hat that didn't like you, to cut your belt while you were inside, and there you'd be, stranded. We've been playing "king of the hill" with motorcycles since we we're in our teens. Apparently it wasn't $hit, cause we've ridden together several times and he never provoked the beast. One thing I do know is that it doesn't handle well as I can take him mid corner on the inside and I'm no knee dragger. Anyway last winter he bought another softail slightly chopped and put in a Ultima El Bruto 127 cu. inch. engine. That engine puts out 140 h.p. and 140 ft. lbs. of torque (numbers sound familiar ?). I've never had mine on a dyno but it sounds like I could be in trouble here. Is he trying to FORCE me to get a carpenter bike ? Thoughts ?
