Ducati rider Carlin Dunne dies after Pikes Peak crash

I'm sure sponsorship dollars mean nothing in this particular case.

But on topic, here is a bike that will be heavily effected by this:

KTM doesn't even make the 690 Duke anymore. And technically, it had a 701cc engine, same that is currently in the Husky 701s

Fillmore already holds the record for lightweight and middleweight on the 450 SX-F and 790 Duke respectively. Currently the only person to hold championships in 3 divisions up the peak. All having been world records and on KTMs. The heavyweight in '17 on the 1290 Super Duke R

As for Carlin Dunne, he was a multi time champion, knew the risks as does everyone else going up, and loved it. Them getting rid of the motorcycles just diminishes his memory and love of the race.

I agree I just don't think the organizers care about the money vs negative press they get when people die, not that car drivers haven't died.

Good point on the 690, didnt realize it was a 701, "just" escapes the parts wrath lol.

Airbus Is subsidized by the EU and makes Boeing less competitive. But Boeing receives government contracts that some say is a form of subsidies.
Everything is so convoluted it’s any layman’s guess what is really going!

I'm not a fan of the AMA, but looked at the proposed tariff gov website and am amazed at the number of items listed. One can download the submitted comment from the US Sales Director for KTM, it's disheartening.

There are other comments from US Businesses that are being affected.
