After Fillup No More Fuel Guage

Did you also reset your trip meter? - I don't know if they are connected somehow or not....
Maybe time to drain fuel and remove the fuel pump assembly to inspect - while your in there change the fuel filter.
If you do this yourself - just be careful not to bend the fuel level arm as it is a bit tricky to remove. The first pic shows the fuel pump assembly and the float arm is on the other side.
I use a fuelbot 2.0. (the blue thing on the right of the second pic.

Thanks for the great info! Now after reading about the Fuelbot I think ones in order whether the factory guage comes back or not.:)

In another thread, non-OEM replacement filters were suggested. Anyone care to repeat some? Also, what is so tricky about removing this fuel pump assembly from the tank? At which point while taking the bike off the bike is the tank drained? Does one clamp the fuel hose and take it off the injectors rail?

IT COMES OUT AT AN ANGLE, THE PUMP END SITS TO ONE SIDE, NOT IN THE MIDDLE. At which point while taking the bike off the bike is the tank drained? RIDE UNTIL ALMOST EMPTY, YOU WILL LEAVE A LITTLE IN THE BOTTOM SO BE CAREFUL TO LEAVE IT TILTED UP. Does one clamp the fuel hose and take it off the injectors rail? NO NEED TO
