I have been a Rocket III owner for 19 years. Puchased my new 2006 in August of 2007. I have enjoyed all these years on her. I even spent $7000 installing the Neville Lush Racing 200 HP kit and to go with it the 1.75" Paul Bryant Viking Exhuast. These mods really change the performance along with suspension and brake improvements. So after watching you guys get into the R3 series for so long, I made the plunge after 7 years of looking.

@mexican turned me on to a sweet deal on a 2023 Rocket 3 GT. It is a 1 owner bike traded in for a H-D Trike. I decided this is the R3 GT for me. I wanted to ride my Tiger down and ride the Rocket 3 back. My Buddy Jerry (@Justdad) told me I'm nuts. Then he offered to take me and my 2022 Tiger GT LRH with his van and trailer down to Texas and back to do this deal. THANK YOU JERRY. My cost was gas and hotels. How could I say no to such a great offer. So off to Texas on a 5 day 3300 mile round trip. The trip was well worth the time and money invested. Thanks Again to The Flat Cap Cafe Racer. Oh, BTW: Jerry was right. We had rain. a lot of rain. Hellashious wind. 25, 35 even 65 mph wind gusts. Very challenging driving.

This new to me R3 Gt was well kept by the the original owner Terry. I spoke to him and I'm confident all is good with this bike. Terry installed the Corbin Tail Tidy/Fender Extender in matching red paint. I like this and was planning to add it myself to any R3 GT I would have purchased. I'm glad Terry liked it too. I am planning to keep it "mostly stock looking." I will be adding many farkles and of course a tune to unlock the bike from the extream detuned neutered form Triumph puts this beast on the market. If you get a chance to look over the ETV values on TuneECU, you will agree, holy cow, it is really chocked off. Take a look at the stock ETV and AFR tables below. I have already designed new ETV, AFR, Fuel Trims and minor Timing Adjustments for this bike. I am debating installing them now or waiting until I can get on a dyno to run the stock ECU to get the stock HP/TQ then do the download to see the gains and test the AFR, Fuel Trim and Timing Changes. I'm not sure I can hold out though.

My further plans are to keep the stock exhaust, but modify the muffler with something like the way Peter at Meerkat does his. Any suggestions from the forum on what to do and how to do it and the results would be appreciated. I'm looking for a little better flow and a little growl, but not stupid loud.

So far I added some reflective Union Jack stickers, Grip Puppies, Cramp Buster and a small but larger than stock windscreen. I still need a rear reflector (on order). I'm looking at a front fender extender, handlebar riser/pull back, and a way to install a set of foot pegs about mid to rear of engine. Advice on that appreciated too. More to come as I get these things done.
Stock AFR Stock Rain Stock Road Stock Sport. Doesnt look different very much to Road.
