I have a Standard Rock with pegs, and I have to lift my foot off the left peg to reach the shifter to downshift. It's a real pain in the ass. Has anyone experienced this and adjusted their shift lever downwards to compensate?
It looks like I can loosen the locknut and reposition the lever on the splines so it's lower.

Thanks in advance.

You can also get a shifter off an 04 Triumph Speed Triple or earlier model and dump that ****ty linkage shifter and use a direct shifter that just fits the shaft and do away with all the linkage.

Cool. Thought it was straight forward.
I like the sound of a direct lever without linkage even more, N1.

Thx
