Accessary liht bulbs, handlebar fuel gauge

the foglights? yeah i momentarily tried to open one when installing them, to get a bead on the bulb size for spares, it seemed like they weren't meant to be opened.... maybe i just didnt bother with it long enough

I was hoping their was an alternative source than the dealer. Most everything is more expensive at the dealer and requires a longer trip to get them. I thought at one time someone had listed an alternate bulb and it may even had been an alternate color. Thanks

You can check for a cross-reference table with Sylvania or GE and see what is a replacement bulb. You'll need the bulb number on the base to cross-reference.

Called the Lexington KY dealer on the light bulbs and was told to by the whole unit to get the bulb, ridiculous .Any one have answer to part number of any mfg for this bulb? GW

im sure its a common enough bulb.

id suggest NAPA parts if there is one near.
i've had many odd bulbs matched up at to shop nearby.
If you can't find any, there is a shop named Light Bulbs, here that has EVERY small and miniature bulb made.
I replaced my instrument lights with a equivalent LED lamp with out resistor or extra module.

Triumph accessory Fog Lights use bog standard 55W H3 halogen Bulbs. With a twist.

The short power cable normally found on H3's that's terminated with a 1/4" male blade connector is hard wired. The rear plate (2 small screws) can stick to the rubber sealing flange.

I'd suggest you try and find the H3S bulbs - These have a relocated filament and twin pigtail wiring. You'll have to piss about anyway.

Gauge bulb - I've no idea - post a pic.

Another option COULD be to fit H3S (normal H3 wont fit) HID burners and convert the lamps to HID - OR convert them to LED - This is a real custom conversion job - but worth it.
