255 car tire on rear?

and the kickstand can probably be removed:roll:

Actually happened to me one day..... backed into a fairly steep concrete kerb to park, with the tyre up against the kerb.... couldn't lean the bike over onto the kickstand.... had to start up again and ride forward a bit......

... but I should not post on darkside threads... I should not post on darkside threads...I should not............................................

no you should'nt

Remember the tyre deforms slightly while riding, particularly while turning, so the 1/4" clearance on the 245 may just be enough for it to clear under load.
