255 car tire on rear?

I mounted a 225/60 R16 but I have EMC Shocks absorbers 1cm longer than stock'ones
the interesting result is a speed ratio increased by 4.5% !

Actually happened to me one day..... backed into a fairly steep concrete kerb to park, with the tyre up against the kerb.... couldn't lean the bike over onto the kickstand.... had to start up again and ride forward a bit......

Remember the tyre deforms slightly while riding, particularly while turning, so the 1/4" clearance on the 245 may just be enough for it to clear under load.
