2012 rocket 4

The 6th gear is the thing that most interested me.
I'd like it if I was doing 85 and pulling less than 2 grand on the tach.
Any machinists out there that could make this happen?
Bet a person could sell thousands of that upgrade.

+100. I'd LOVE a 6th gear! Would make the bike virtually perfect.

German Autobahns.. Australia, or any other jurisdiction with a civilized and educated attitude to speed.

Speeding doesnt kill, muppet drivers do. When was the last time you killed someone going fast? ("rolleyes" smiley") Statistically, literally and scientifically, speed does not kill people.

Speed limits are merely suggestions for many of us, IFT. When's the last time you cruise the I 78 or I 80 superslabs out my way. 80 mph is the norm!

You need to ride in Texas. 80 to 85 is about right for this area. Any slower and a blue hair will take you out.
 
its not the blue hairs you have to worry about down here. it is the ones in a hurry to get to their exit after realizing that they are half past it and still in the far left lane.
the majority of the blue hairs do come over, but they at least take their time doing it. lol.
besides, being up in cypress and on 290, traffic does not go fast enough for you to get anywhere close to 30 let alone 80. lol.

Its no wonder the convicts stayed here.I feel for you.

Back to my planning of a 2500 klm desert ride this winter( sunny blue skies and about 30c in winter)
