2008 or 2009?

Infamous Upgrade kit at the factory begin in nov 2007 for a 2008
2008 2009 are the same I think
2010 have 20 more pound feet of tork
Upgrade clutch
Upgrade drive shaft
Only 2 pipes
Gear number Selection
Fuel Gage
ABS
Foot peg 4 inch back-up (I'm Pretty sure the hole Touring footboard kit with ABS could be switch over on a roadster)
Less chrome
Comfort rear shock


2013 are not restricted (governed) in 1st 2e 3rd and 4th gear 100% power
Only 5 th gear is governed (speed limiter)

Did I miss something ?

You can rectify this by retrofitting the parts from an other models There are frequent requests on this site from people wanting to swap there forward controls for the Roadster type and vice versa.
Or you can just wait for one to come along in the classifieds ,I have a 2008 and it came fitted with forward controls by the dealer.
Im not sure if the footboards and other parts are still available from the dealer.

My 2008 is supposed to have all the upgrades according to the previous owner. I know that the headlight wiring remains cool.
