Was riding my saturday and all was fine. Sunday morning go to start and it catches for a moment and then dies. I try again and nothing. I listen closely and I do not hear the fuel pump. All the fuses are good. Called dealer and he said that I needed to bang on the fuel pump. Something about bad fuel. That did not work. Anybody have any other ideas?

check ignition

Check ignition wires. My ignition went bad after my wreck, loose wire prevented it from starting. Try wiggling them and starting it.

Would someone tell me where it is located? I am not a home so I don't have access to any manuals.

The fuel pump relay is under the lefthand side cover (when seated on bike), it's the closest one to the front. Ignition switch wires are behind the headlights under the ignition barrel, give them a wriggle when trying the starter.
