It seams that the TPS on my bike has died.
I did replace this many years ago with the updated one.
My question is, is the secondary TPS the same ? Could I use this in place of the primary TPS?
NO
it is ass backwards on several areas
how do you know that it s bad?

DARN !
The idle and throttle control was all over the place.
We re-set the TPS and went out fror a ride, in no time it was reving again.
Checked the voltage, it was out, reset, another ride, same thing.
It was OK whilst just using a little throttle, but as soon as I gave it a handfull the revs hung up.

most of the time the problem is where the two throttle cables meet a the front of engine that assy is made in a way that you can force the throttle closed but if a little arm is sticking it can still rev to 5000 rpm.
so wd40 or a cleaner spray good (also the return springs on throttle bodys) do a few wot and let fly shut. being in a dusty state i have had to do mine several times and only changed my tps once when working on another problem.

O.K. I will try that.
I've not had the throttle bodies off so will have a real good look at them.

Thanks Mr Turbo.
