2005 Rocket (Fuel usage)

I have an 05 as well. My light comes on at around 150km (approx. 93 miles)
 
Mine comes on like clockwork between 135-145 miles depending on riding type. Still have 2 gallons left. Before the mods and tune it would come on at 180-185 with 2 gallons left. Worth the drop in mpg though
 
Mine's fairly new and only just broken in. Over about 70-100 miles of mixed and spirited riding, I get around 40 UK mpg.
 
The fuel light on my bike comes on when we have a little over a gallon and a half of gas left. I guess we got lucky and bought one with a working fuel gauge. Most of my riding is open highway so we average around 36-38 miles per gallon. When we bought the bike gas milage really was not a issue but am glad it worked out the way it did.
