Amazingly, my bike just got the thumbs up from the despots at TFL and is no longer applicable for a ULEZ charge. ULEZ limit is 0.15, my bike makes 0.11 according to the logbook. It's a pretty easy process to apply and obviously worth doing if you go to London.
Even though it wasn't needed in the end, Triumph sent me a certificate of conformity for free, that's good service seeing as some other manufacturers will charge anything up to £170.
ULEZ is the U.K. version of the California Air Resources Board=CARB, (the people who created the most restrictive vehicle emissions standards)
I always wondered why CARB never ever talks about or trys to regulate emissions from Jet Engine Exhausts and Locomotive Engine Exhaust, (but goes bonkers when someone removes a CAT, has a Semi Tractor with no Particulate Filter and just about any vintage HP Vehicle etc).
